Finally home!
CheerfulCamp was so much fun. *sigh* It's a Lutheran camp, so it's cool to hang out with a bunch of other Lutherans (cuz I don't know that many at home). It's also the only time I get to see one of my best friends, so it was freaking amazing to see her again. At the camp, they break you off into small groups of about 13 people that you spend most of your time with, so you get really really close to them. At the final worship service, everyone I was sitting with was crying, then finlly I just started bawling my eyes out because I was so sad to leave...
Anyway, that's too depressing, so I'm going to talk about fun stuff now!
One of the days at camp, we got to do all these activities that are basically designed to get you really messy. Which doesn't sound like a lot of fun, but honestly it was. You would go around to the different stations, and most of them had something to do with mud...having to sit in it, crawl through it, carry it...and one of the activities involved having some oatmeal concoction poured down your back. XD That was really hard to get out of my hair, just fyi. It was really a fun week...I totally can't wait to go back next year.Omg, it's band camp week! *scary music* Why is band camp always the hottest week of the summer?? Well...if I suddenly disappear, it means I didn't survive band camp. Please come to my funeral and mourn me. XD J/K...we all complain about it, but truly it's not *that* bad.

The messy event was amazing. And people did get way into it...they were like painting their faces with mud and using it as hair gel...0_0 It was crazy. My roommate covered herself with mud and I totally didn't recognize her until she spoke.
Yes...band camp. Color guard camp started for me this morning, which was actually kinda fun, but...guh. Band camp. At least I'll get to hang out with my band friends. XD
I am totally excited about special british chocolates. XD I will give you...uh...a giant hug!! Yeah, that'll work!

oh teh noes, band camp and color guard at teh same tiemz! i would fall down and die, lol. so hugs and chocolates for you for being able to multitask, cuz god knows i can't
lol, i also had some for my dad, and even though he'd JUST eaten like six pieces of chicken, cole slaw, and mashed potatoes (we just got back from a restaurant), he had like half a bag
my flight home was boring >_< i sat next to a kid who smelled funny!

Oh yeah, I would not have expected my roomie to get that into the messy event, but she did, it was hilarious. She was nice...unlike my roomie last year, who never talked to me. *eye roll*
Guard camp was cool this morning, my wrists got super tired tho! After we got done, one of my friends was there for drumline camp, so we went to KFC for lunch.

i hate it when your wrists get all tired from stuff. that happens all the time to me when i spend like five hours colouring something online, like i just got done doing
oh no, we luckily didn't lose power. it flickered twice last night and i lost computer connection (GUH!), but we were lucky. how did you guys get along? my dad said he didn't even hear the storm

I know! When I'm spinning my flag, I can usually do about 3 sets of 8 (which means spinning it...uh...24 times if my math is correct) but after that my wrists hurt and I kinda slow down, which sucks, but I don't want my hands to fall off. XD
We didn't lose power at all, we were so lucky. The storm woke me up at like 6 in the morning, but our power stayed on. Yeah, good thing the tree was gone...that would not have been good.

i know, we're really lucky. like a half a bazillion people lost power! oh teh noooooooes! i remember in the ice storm earlier this year we lost power fir like five hours, but this storm was on either sunday or monday and some people still don't have power!
by the way, has sarah got her power back yet?

Eek, that sounds scary! Dude, my car has been in the shop twice this summer...first it needed new tires, and now its brakes needed to be replaced. -_- Grr.
